Robert
Borzych
Robert
joins the cast of "FRUITCAKE" in the role of
Brent, the enigmatic boyfriend. A fan of the food as well
as the film, "FRUITCAKE" was Robert's first
short film experience. Despite his avoidance of on-location
dangers such as mad wasps, lack of sleep and runaway sewage,
he recalls the shoot as being "incredibly fun and
rewarding." When not "on screen," Robert
has worked on some of San Diego's favorite stages including,
North Coast Repertory, Diversionary Theater, Cassius Carter,
SDSU, UCSD, and the Tony award winning Old Globe Theater.
Of his over 30 theatrical productions, favorite roles
include Bobby in "Love! Valour! Compassion!"
and Joe Farkus in "Last Night of Ballyhoo."
Television credits include "A Tribute to Bob Hope"
and "Invisible Man." He is a graduate of the
University of San Diego and was also named one of San
Diego's leading "Faces to Watch" by the KPBS
Pate Awards.

Georgia Jean
Actress/Comedian/Freak
of Nature/Token Australian, she hails from Melbourne,
Australia. She landed on the shores of the States with
$500 in her pocket and a plan to become a superstar. Aided
by the benefits of pre show hypnotherapy Georgia made
her stunning comedy debut at the World Famous Comedy Store
in La Jolla. She quickly climbed the ranks and began appearing
regularly in “Hagfest - Women in Comedy Nights”
and “The Best Of San Diego Shows”. After less
than a year and a half of doing stand up, Georgia was
spotted by club owner Mitzi Shore and elevated to the
prestigious Comedy Store on Sunset, Hollywood. Georgia
Jean performs regularly at many Hollywood clubs The Comedy
Store, The Improv, The Laugh Factory, Mixed Nuts, Ha Ha
Cafe as well as featuring on out of town road gigs. As
an actor she has appeared in “The Bold and the Beautiful”
as well as starring in several independent films, amongst
them “Fruitcake”, "Cake," and “Custody”.
Georgia’s unique perspective combined with her fearlessly
committed physicality and energy leaves many an audience
member remembering “That crazy Aussie chick”.

Fabio
Sandolo
Born
and raised in Wilton, CT, but spent his summers in Italy
with his grandmother. At the age of eighteen he moved
to Denver, CO. There Fabio attended Regis University,
where he began his training. After two years, he moved
to San Diego where he studied at the University of San
Diego. Fabio then continued his education at the London
Drama School in England, where he decided to pursue his
acting career. Some of Fabio's stage experiences include
"South Pacific," "Little Shop of Horrors,"
"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,"
"Li'l Abner," "Grease" and "The
Scarlet Pimpernel." Fruitcake is Fabio's first film
appearance.

Hilary
Schwartz
Hilary got her start in Pasadena, CA. A reject for the Rose
Parade Court, Hilary pulled her life together and took it
down to San Diego where she starred in such plays as "The
Kentucky Cycle," "The Man Who Came To Dinner"
and "Lend Me a Tenor." Hilary has studied the
Stanislavsky Method, honed her improvisational skills and
also mastered the craft of scene-stealing. Hilary shines
in the film "Fruitcake." She stars as the exuberant
and vivacious Susan. Currently Hilary is wrapping up her
final year at San Diego State University, where she is busy
performing in a series of original One-Act plays.

Rita
Furlong
A
San Diego native entrenched in the local "Indie"
film scene. Since starting acting seven years ago, Rita
has appeared and starred in over a dozen independent films
and videos including "Fruitcake," "Cake,"
"Border Stories," "Oh Possum" and
"Agent X." Rita has also appeared in two music
videos, but is best known as Mrs. White in a little film
called "Titanic." In fact, whenever Rita is
mentioned in the biz, she is referred to as "Rita
Furlong of Titanic." Rita is a marvelous character
actress and loves playing ‘the Heavy.’

Jim Henderson
A
veteran of the San Diego theatre scene, appearing in plays
from "Little Mary Sunshine" to "Loving
Comrades." Jim has been penned in the local press
as the "Definitive Oscar Wilde." Jim is also
an accomplished theatre director, having directed such
productions as "Barefoot in the Park," "Community
Property" at the Diversionary Theatre, "Citizen
Mendez" at the Manhattan Playhouse and "1st
Date" at the 6th@Penn Theatre. When Jim isn't acting,
he can be found at the 6th@Penn Theatre, where he is currently
the director of "Late Night Entertainment."
"Fruitcake" is Jim's first film appearance.
He hopes that this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. |

Derek
Roland
Born and raised in Southeast Missouri on the banks of the
Mississippi River, Derek Roland studied acting at Regent
University in Virginia Beach, VA. He spent two years intensely
studying the Meisner acting technique at the Actor's Place
in Virginia Beach. Going through this process changed Derek's
life and he swears by the Meisner technique. Derek took
time off from acting and taught high school for seven years
- two years of teaching drama and directing successful school
plays. "Fruitcake" is Derek's first short film.
Currently Derek is teaching a class on the Meisner technique
in San Diego. Acting is his passion and Derek wants to inspire
others to pursue their passions to the best of their ability.

Niloo
Khodadadeh
Niloo comes from a strong theatre background in San Diego.
Her theatre credits include the zany comedy "All in
the Timing" and "West Side Story." Niloo
has worked on several short indie films, including the soap
opera satire "Daze of Hour Lives" and the silent
short "Shot Through the Heart." Niloo is most
thrilled about her role as Lisa, the "perfect"
sister-in-law in "Fruitcake." Niloo is addicted
to the "rush" of acting and is making her passion
a lifelong career. |

Kayla
Pankow is nine years old, an A student at her elementary
school and attends acting workshops every week. She enjoys
acting, reading, writing, rollerblading, bike riding, swimming
and being with her family and friends. She is currently
working hard and learning the techniques of acting. Kayla
has her sights on college and becoming an actress.
Nick Pankow is six years
old and attends elementary school. He loves playing soccer,
basketball and baseball. Nick likes to play sports outside
with his friends, as well as play Little League Soccer
and all the Backyard sports games on the computer. Nick
has his sights set on today and as he says it "I'm
just a kid. I don't know what I want to do yet."
